Work is more than earning money. Work means recognition, enables an increase in self-esteem, contributes to social and health stabilisation and is a prerequisite for the development of life perspectives.

The Caritas socio-economic business offers long-term unemployed people training or temporary jobs with the aim of gaining structure, courage and new self-confidence through work practice and counselling in order to (re-)enter the regular labour market.

At Art & Work organised by Caritas socio-economic business, the participants produce creative and sustainable products that can now be found in our SCHÖN&GUT Social Concept Store, such as bookends made from vinyl records, textile cotton pads and handkerchief covers, jewelry, upcycled board organisers as well as reusable fabric handkerchiefs and beeswax cloths.
