For the Love of Screen Printing

After Sonja Maierhofer and Matthias Moldaschl discovered their love for screen printing, they launched their own label, earthtree-inspired by nature.

The textiles used are Fairwear or GOTS certified. The fabrics are made of organic cotton or organic linen from the Mühlviertel region and are printed by hand using water-based, environmentally friendly and biodegradable inks. The printed fabrics are sewn into clothing, bags, backpacks and accessories by socio-economic enterprises. The refined paper and wood are used to make greeting cards, billettes and pictures.

The motifs for their constantly changing collections are mainly created by direct exposure of plant parts, grasses, leaves and flowers onto the screen. This means that the print motifs are produced almost without the use of computer technology, which is exciting every time.
